thymecoupon
Say ‘thank you’ via redeemable ‘good deeds’.
Where do our thank you(s) come from? Deep within thought? Word? Deed?
Inspired by the concept of redeeming offers from branded stores and online e-commerce platforms via coupons, ‘thymecoupon’, a derivative of the ‘thyme’ platform serves to do justice to exchanging the best in you with another human being.
The possibilities are endless (cookies🍪, yay!). A deed for a redeemable deed.
The possibilities are endless (cookies🍪, yay!). A deed for a redeemable deed.
What is?
‘thymecoupons’ are card sized coupons that allow you to give someone a redeemable act or deed. Coupons usually give you something for free or a discount. A ‘thymecoupon’ does just that. Say you are thankful to a friend for walking you dog while you were busy at sports practice, you can hand them a ‘thymecoupon’ as a token of appreciation with a redeemable deed on the coupon that reads — “I’ll prepare you lunch and dinner when you are ill”.
What do?
Absolutely simple! (aye!) induce that personal fuzzy feeling to someone else you care for. Spread the warmth of closure, humanity and sprinkle✨ loads of smiles😊.
How do?
So here’s how you use a ‘thymecoupon’:
- Thankful for something done by someone, eh? Take a ‘thymecoupon’ and ponder on all the good that you can do.
- Pray that you have one on you (we’ve made them handy and durable so that you can style on ’em too).
- Write out a ‘good deed’ (that you feel you can execute to your best) on the space provided on the thymecoupon.
- Hand over the ‘thymecoupon’ with the ‘good deed’ written on it to the beneficiary.
- Take a pic — here’s the catch!! A pic only of your hand handing over the card into the hands of the beneficiary. JUST HANDS!🤝
- Upload the pic on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags: #thymecoupon #goodfordeed with a brief story of the reason for exchanging the deed. Keep it general, even better, keep the identity of the receiver anonymous.
- Breathe. Pat yourself for considering a good deed to be done by you.
- Honour the ‘good deed’ when the beneficiary redeems it.
Why do?
We curated and decided on this concept taking into account the state of humane chaos around. By this, we hope to spread the message of human connection through unconditional deeds and remind people that they have a human obligation to do good! Think good! And honor the good others do.
